Hello Members,

Just wanted to send out a quick update on the new hours of operation as well as some of the new County rules that are in effect. As well as try to send out a funny meme to lighten the mood!!! :-)

New hours of operation are as follows:

Tues-Sun - 8-10a Lap Swim

Tues-Th - 2-7 Family Swim

Fr-Sun - 12-7 Family Swim

Mon -Closed

Tues-Th - 2p-7p

Fr/Sat/Sun -12-7 e

Snack Shack

Fri-Sun - 1-6p

Again...if you are going to have an adult beverage by the pool, you must purchase food. Not our rules, these are the County rules so that we can stay open for you. Please stop giving the cocktail server a hard time and/or trying to circumvent this rule as this is a non negotiable. Also...this is not a BYOB situation and please know that when, (NOT if) you are caught, your pool privileges (as well as your membership) will be not pass go, do not collect $200...Thank you.

On the plus side we want to give a HUGE thank you to those of you who have continued to come out to support the lodge right now. I can assure you that your Trustees and the House Manager have been doing their best to be fiscally responsible and working with the Lodge Treasurer and the Lodge Advisors to keep our Lodge viable during this "Covid shutdown" and we are so very appreciative of your support. Every takeout/curbside meal you purchase, every cocktail and food item purchased from the bar and every member who pays their dues during this time, supports our lodge and the skeleton crew of employees that are needed to run the Lodge during this time. THANK YOU!!!

We understand that these new rules, in addition to the other Social Distancing Protocols set forth may be difficult for people to get accustomed to. (and trust me...I myself am guilty more than anyone in forgetting! Yikes!!)  However please understand that while the Elks are not the ones that are setting forth these rules, we are absolutely going to uphold them and we will expect our members (and their guests) to abide by them, as well as to respect the staff members enforcing them. We are all trying to navigate these uncertain times together and hope that everyone will exhibit patience and grace while we do so.

That's all we've got for now! Please check the Lodge FB and web pages for updates and as always, if you have any questions please contact the Lodge office, your House Manager or your Trustee Board.

Be well everyone...please reach out if you need anything at all and Big Hugs!!  I truly miss SO many of you and I REALLY cannot wait until the day when I actually can...

"See you around the Lodge!!"

Fraternally Yours,

Lori Marshall, PER
